DYNOJET has responded to the increased number of trikes appearing on the market and owners' desire to tune them by creating a dynamometer that can handle the unique needs of such vehicles.
The Dynojet 250ix can not only be used for trikes but also ATVs, Side-by-Sides and go- karts.
The 250ix is based upon the Dynojet Motorcycle Chassis dynamometer, yet due to the extra drum is capable of complete drive-train testing by measuring performance at the drive wheels. Additionally, because of the shared technology, shops using Dynojet 200i or 250i dynamometers can upgrade them to 250ix specification.
The 250ix offers closed-loop control of speed or RPM, is capable of absorption of 858 lb/ft torque, has an optional closed-loop torque control module, and measures up to 750hp. There is a primary wire inductive tachometer pick-up and secondary inductive pick-ups (spark plug clamps connect directly to spark plug wires) included as standard. The Dynoware EX+ hardware supplied includes CPU module, dyno module, atmospheric sensing module and RPM module.
